Parkside Village is an all concrete home development achieving MN Greenstar Certification. Parkside Village offers a "Green Alternative" to traditional construction. The community with consist of 10 detached townhomes, 9 twin homes, and 3 triplex units. This will be a unique development and the first of its kind offering high performance ICF construction and geothermal heating and cooling systems. This will be the largest Planned Urban Development (PUD) of its kind in the upper Midwest.
The challenge was to create a "Green" development at an economical price. By using ICF construction the developers have created a quite, warm, safe and comfortable environment with the highest energy efficiency ratings. The bottom line is the combination of ICF construction along with a Geothermal system will create a healthy, safe home while saving hundreds of dollars each year in energy cost.
Because it is the First building in a Planned Urban Development (PUD) that will set the standard for how developments and communities of the future will be designed and constructed. Once the development is completed it will be the benchmark for the future.
