Decorative Concrete Walk Adds Aesthetic Appeal to Suburban Shopping Center

Utilizing Cemstone decorative concrete gives this suburban shopping center an upscale appeal. The existing concrete for this project was torn out and replaced with Scofield integral colors Etruscan Tile and Dark Gray. The shop owners feel that the integral color and dual color scheme welcomes their customers and gives their shops an inviting feel. The Dark Gray integral color effectively leads customers to each entryway while being pleasing to the eye. Form meets Function!

Concrete had to be placed during regular business hours. Construction made for inconvenient access to each business with temporary plywood sidewalks in use until the concrete was placed. Work crews unloaded the concrete trucks as quickly as possibly to minimize traffic congestion and the impact to the stores and their customers.

The shopping center owner knew that concrete would allow creative sidewalk designs to give his property a sense of distinction that welcomes customers. And sets the stores apart from their contemporaries.

This project demonstrates that concrete is a functional and aesthetic building material that offers end users virtually unlimited potential.
