Acid Stains contain metallic salts that react with the minerals in gray or colored concrete to produce a multihued finish reminiscent of natural stone, marble or leather. This makes acid stains ideal for interior floors and walkways. All acid stain colors are derived from 3 primary hues: blue-green, black and brown. Because a variety of factors affect the final hue and vibrancy of the concrete, including finishing techniques and composition of the original concrete slab, each acid stain project is completely unique.
- Stunning, elegant look can be achieved on any concrete surface
- Can be applied to old or new concrete
- Can be used on concrete with integral colors or shake-on color hardeners
- Produces a rich, variegated look to the surface
- Each acid stain project produces its own unique look
